i have used ubuntu to remove the partitions and format the drive to then install windows and for it to pick up the home licence again. Trying to upgrade to Pro has proved rather challenging, I have booted from the Media creation tool that microsoft recommend but the tool is automatically choosing home with no option to change to pro. I have 30 machines with Win10 Home on them however to get the E3 Licence on them I need to upgrade to Pro first and then when the user signs in with their 365 credentials it pulls down the E3 licence. I have just acquired Microsoft 365 E3 ( Office & Windows 10 Licence)
